The right game room seating does more than provide a place to sit. It adds personality, brings a design together, and helps to create the kind of atmosphere that makes a space memorable.
For a luxury project, Sharon Kenny of 706Home Design wanted custom upholstered chairs that would feel as refined as the rest of the interior. The goal was to find seating with a distinctive shape, a high-end finish, and the flexibility to match the designer’s vision down to the fabric.
Working with Donny Wessels at West State Billiards & Gamerooms’ Irvine showroom, Sharon selected the California House C6310 chairs, crafted from solid maple wood and fitted with ball casters. To achieve the exact look envisioned, the chairs were upholstered in rich burgundy velvet fabric supplied by the client.
The result is a bold, sophisticated look with the feel of an intimate cocktail lounge. The burgundy velvet brings depth and drama to the space, while its plush texture adds warmth and a sense of luxury. Paired with sleek black frames and a distinctive modern silhouette, the chairs strike a balance between statement-making style and timeless sophistication. Their sculptural shape gives the bar a unique character without competing with the surrounding decor.
