History of West State Billiards

Where it all began...

In 1946, Frank Spencer Ball founded West State Billiards in the city of Long Beach as a pool hall and billiard cloth wholesaler. He ran his business on three principles: to sell the highest quality pool tables and game room furniture available, to sell all products at great prices, and to provide exceptional customer service and support in a timely manner. These principles led to the success of this business venture, and West State’s dedication to them continued with his son, Harold Ball, who took over the family business from his father.

The continued dedication to these three guiding principles led West State Billiards to become the main supplier of quality billiard cloth on the West Coast and gain a reputation for its expert knowledge of Brunswick pool tables. From there, West State only continued to grow in reputation as the West Coast’s top supplier.
