Gorgeous Origami Pool Table In Ladera Ranch, CA

Picture1

The owners of this Ladera Ranch residence wanted a pool table to act as another source of entertainment in their den area. West State sales representative Paul Lockhart helped them find the right fit and arrange delivery straight to their home.

The den is split between two rooms: the TV space and the breakfast nook with the pool table. Both are separated by a cutout in the wall and a rug to mark where one ends and the other begins. To the far left of the room, a sectional sofa offers a place to sit and enjoy watching movies or TV. Keeping things cozy is a throw blanket and a few pillows.

To keep everything neutral, the couch is made of white faux leather, which plays off the warm-white walls and the warm lighting. The flooring is also light, in contrast to the dramatic triptych on the far wall that depicts the canyons of Zion National Park. In the forefront of the room, the colors transition to cool grays and a cooler white. This is reflected in the cabinetry, backsplash, and rug.

The built-in cabinets offer an equally cozy space for snacks and more storage, complete with a sink for rinsing and countertops for preparing a quick cup of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or whatever the guests or family might need. It even includes a miniature popcorn maker for movie nights. Drawers with glass fronts offer an easy way to check what each one holds and provide another way to keep an eye on supplies. Underneath the sink and counter space, cabinets not only provide storage for extra snack supplies that do not fit into the upper units, including plates and popcorn tubs, but they also provide storage for any other games the family might want to keep in the space.

Sitting in the middle of this breakfast bar area is the pool table. The homeowners chose California House’s Origami model in a smoke finish with glaze and a bright white billiard cloth. While the finish and glaze are stunning, playing off the gray in the cabinets, backsplash, and rug, the real eyecatchers are the table’s legs. The Origami table gets its name from the sculptural legs that are meant to look like the folds in a delicate origami piece without sacrificing stability and durability.

California House is known for its quality, and its Origami pool table is no exception. It features a solid, kiln-dried hardwood frame along with an inch-thick diamond-honed slate. As with all California House pool tables, this pool table features fast and accurate K66 profile cushion rubber, too. This ensures every customer receives a piece that can withstand years’ worth of gameplay, no matter how rough or intense your games can be.
