The owners of this La Cañada Flintridge home wanted a pool table to bring a bit of entertainment to their patio space. It had to be sturdy enough to hold up to both the elements and rough gameplay. West State sales representative Paul Lockhart helped them find the right R & R Outdoor pool table for their needs.
With a covered patio, the space offers an excellent view of the backyard and surrounding natural beauty. This is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or basking in the warmth of Californian summers. It also includes areas for seating, with benches on both sides. Two French doors allow access to both the outside and indoor spaces, which is great for entertaining large parties. Hosts can easily move from inside to the outdoors, and guests can mingle between the two spaces.
The floor of the patio is made of a soft red tile that is right at home in this craftsman-style home. It also offers a level and sturdy surface that withstands both the elements and anything you put on it. This is especially important when creating the perfect seating and entertainment area, as it helps keep the table and seating level.
Into this space comes the South Beach outdoor pool table from R & R Outdoors. It features minimalist lines, with a raised under-table, so you can pull up seating quickly and convert the South Beach into a dining table. The owners opted for a sleek black finish with matching benches that can easily be tucked underneath when it is in use as a pool table. To keep a neutral backdrop, the owners also opted for the Camel billiards cloth. This helps the table blend in with its natural surroundings without looking out of place among the existing patio furniture.
As part of this set, the owners also acquired a set of pool cues, perfect for evenings spent outside around the pool table. These are set in a cue rack, carefully tucked away in a corner where they are just within reach but also out of the way of any other outdoor activities.
