This Brunswick Anniversary pool table hails from the 60s and adds a retro twist to this Santa Barbara home. The owners of this vintage pool table wanted to have it restored and ensure it lasted for many more decades to come.
With rounded corners and brass-plated metal accents, the Brunswick Anniversary table calls to mind the midcentury, retro-futuristic style that characterized most of the 60s. The dark, cherry-colored wood also got a custom epoxy finish to really make it shine. With the new stain, the table looks almost brand new.
The table sits in the center of the entertainment room. The furniture and décor take notes from this table’s design and incorporates other midcentury modern furniture and lighting to complement its vintage style. Glass-paned patio doors allow natural light to filter in and highlight the resin finish on the table and brighten up the room. Two modern ring chandeliers light the table from above, while keeping the room open for guests to mingle and play without becoming too crowded.
Two couches feature the same brass finish on the legs, tying into the vintage brass look of the Brunswick Anniversary pool table. We were absolutely pleased we were able to restore this table to its former glory and give it a new lease on life, fitting it into the owner’s modern, yet vintage-inspired, game room.
